After a warm weekend, temperatures are set to dip over the coming week, according to the Hong Kong Observatory. Lows of 13 Celsius are predicted by Friday.

However, temperatures will creep back up to the mid-20s over the weekend.

“The northeast monsoon now affecting the coast of Guangdong is moderating gradually,” the Observatory said. “Besides, the area of low pressure over the southern part of the South China Sea is bringing unsettled weather to the region.”

October in Hong Kong was the warmest since records began in 1884.

Monday will remain fine and dry with cloudy periods in the evening.
