HKFP Lens: Citywide clean-up to begin after Super Typhoon Saola pounds Hong Kong
Hong Kong saw serious flooding, fallen trees, and blown out solar panels as the T10-level Super Typhoon Saola battered the city on Friday night. HKFP’s photographer was on the scene.
Hong Kong is assessing the damage after its largest storm in five years. Super Typhoon Saola – classified as a T-10 hurricane-force event – pounded the city on Friday night, causing flooding and damage to trees, power lines, scaffolding and solar panels.
