With a number of Covid-19 social distancing measures recently relaxed, Hongkongers have set out across the city to celebrate Christmas. This year marks the first without mandatory quarantine for international arrivals, and capacity limits at restaurants, bars and other premises have been lifted.
While the number of people allowed to gather in a group remains restricted to 12, and a mask mandate and vaccine requirement for entry to certain venues is still in place, people have been out enjoying festive installations.
