Hong Kong police arrested almost 360 people on Wednesday, including dozens in Mong Kok – some of whom were children in school uniform. The crackdown came as protesters gathered in opposition to the national anthem and national security law. As the night wore on, police and protesters chased each other around the Kowloon shopping district, with demonstrators trying to block roads and set fire to makeshift barricades.
