The Stand With Hong Kong Journalists photo exhibition on the city’s anti-extradition law movement opens next Thursday at Black Cat Artspace in Toronto, Canada.
The photography showcase runs until November 10 and seeks to pay tribute to the reporters on the frontline: “By sharing the power of photojournalism amid this chaos, we wish to stand in solidarity with all members of the press, as well as to initiate conversations among HK people and the international community about human rights, freedom of speech and freedom of press.” the group said.
108 shots submitted from 12 photojournalists will be presented in order to tell “accurate, fair, comprehensive and visually compelling stories” about the 20-week-long movement.
