The Hong Kong Observatory has extended its thunderstorm warning until 3:30pm. Winds of over 80 kilometres per hour may also come to the city, said the Observatory.

Although the rainstorm warning has been cancelled, people should be aware of dangers that may come about due to flooding rivers, the weather authority said.
