The Hong Kong Observatory has extended its thunderstorm warning until 3:30pm. Winds of over 80 kilometres per hour may also come to the city, said the Observatory.

Although the rainstorm warning has been cancelled, people should be aware of dangers that may come about due to flooding rivers, the weather authority said.

It is expected to be cloudy and rainy until Friday, with some sun on Saturday and Sunday. It will continue to rain until Monday, which will be hot, according to the Observatory. Weather will then revert to cloudy and rainy again. Temperatures are expected to remain between 26 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius throughout the next nine days.
