Top Hong Kong officials and members of the public paid their last respects to late ex-Chinese leader Jiang Zemin at Beijing’s Liaison Office in the city on Thursday. Dozens of people brought white flowers and wrote messages of condolences, marking the life and death of a political figure who oversaw China’s era of prosperity from the late 1980s through to the millennium.
