Kowloon saw a long day of protest and unrest on Sunday as protesters and police clashed across the peninsula. A peaceful march quickly descended into scenes of vandalism and firebombs, as police deployed tear gas, projectiles and water cannon against demonstrators. HKFP’s photographer May James was on the frontlines.
