Hong Kong anti-government protesters stormed the city’s legislature after breaking glass doors and prising open gates at the rear on Monday evening. The incident followed hours of protests outside the Legislative Council Complex over a controversial extradition bill, alleged police misconduct, calls for democracy, and for Chief Executive Carrie Lam to resign, among other demands. Photographer May James has shared shots from day with HKFP.
