Elaine Li is an advertising agency art director and photography enthusiast. She was born and raised in Hong Kong, and has spent time in Melbourne and Chicago. She is now based in Sydney.
“I started taking photos at the age of 12 when my dad gave me a camera. Ever since then I’ve been shooting as a hobby,” she told HKFP.
Li is now an Instagram influencer with a following of over 230k, and works with a variety of brands.
She enjoys shooting around sunset, and particularly in the Kowloon area.
Her shots capture some of Hong Kong’s most trademark scenes – its neon lights, street markets, and building facades.
Li has been named one of TimeOut Hong Kong’s top 10 Instagrammers in the city. She was also featured on Business Insider and Mashable.
