Hong Kong Free Press has moved to the newest addition to The Hive Coworking spaces network – The Hive Spring.

The new space, in the heart of Wong Chuk Hang, was previously occupied by Spring Workshop – a pioneer in the district’s art development.

The Hive Spring aims to continue the workshop’s legacy by supporting local artists, musicians, filmmakers and writers, as well as grassroots non-profits like HKFP.

HKFP’s four-member team transferred from the Kennedy Town Hive Studios, where they have been based since last October.

The former industrial space will mean more opportunities for HKFP to host community events, whilst remaining closely connected to the city’s MTR network.

The current HKFP team: Editorial Director Kris Cheng, Editor-in-Chief Tom Grundy, Deputy Editor Catherine Lai, Guest Editor Tim Hamlett and Senior Reporter Karen Cheung.
