Hong Kong is set for warm, misty weather on Monday with highs of 24 Celsius. However, temperatures are set to plunge by the middle of the week.
“A humid maritime airstream is bringing foggy weather to the coastal areas of Guangdong,” the Hong Kong Observatory said.
“Locally, visibility in the harbour fell below 1000 metres this morning, and visibility at Waglan Island even fell to around 100 metres.”
There will be cooler weather beginning on Tuesday. Lows of 15 Celsius are forecast for the middle of the week.
Rain patches will continue until the weekend.
