HKFP is a media sponsor for PinkDot 2016. The annual LGBTQ event will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2pm to 7pm at West Kowloon Nursery Park.

The carnival is co-hosted by LGBTQ rights advocacy groups Big Love Alliance and Pink Alliance. The theme this year is “Love Wins!”

There will be performances from 12 local pop artists including Denise Ho Wan-see and Anthony Wong Yiu-ming, who are founding members of Big Love Alliance. Both are actively involved in pro-democracy activism.

Pets will also be welcome at the event. There will be a dedicated pet zone with volunteers from the local rescue organisation Lifelong Animal Protection.

For the first time, there will also be a flea market at the carnival, where over 30 local craftspeople will be presenting their creations and handicrafts.
