Dramatic footage has emerged of a building in downtown Nanjing ablaze on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out at around 3pm. No casualties have been reported as yet.

Flames ripped through one side of the 26-storey Lusheng Building, located on Hongwu Road.

Local media reported that the fire was caused by a fault in the central air conditioning system on the sixth floor. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within the hour.
