Another wave of resignations hit broadcaster TVB on Friday, with at least seven anchors, reporters, and staff handing in their notice.

Four anchors and reporters including notable names such as Toni Wong Shan and June Lam have resigned, as well as three members of staff from the sports division, AM 730 reported.

The sports division – a relatively small department with five employees – has suffered four departures since the end of 2014, most notably with the resignation of anchor and “sports prince” Vince Ng Ka-him.

TVB News director Keith Yuen Chi-wai downplayed the resignations on Thursday, saying that it will not affect either the news or sports division. He congratulated the employees on their new positions, AM730 reported.

In February of last year, seven journalists resigned from TVB in protest of the network’s handling of the 2014 Ken Tsang incident.

Staff were dissatisfied with how higher-ups at the company treated the incident, specifically in how references to the alleged police assault at the pro-democracy Occupy protests were reportedly censored.
