A young Indonesian domestic worker fell to her death at Kowloon City on Wednesday, having apparently lost her footing while she was working on the balcony.

Titik, 21, had only been in Hong Kong for about two months, Apple Daily reported. At around midday on Wednesday, a security guard heard a loud noise and found Titik lying on the ground in the car park at The Elite Court on Argyle Street. She appeared to have fallen from above, along with a flower pot.

The security guard called the police immediately, but she was certified dead by paramedics when they arrived on the scene.

Titik had been working in the 10th floor flat at Elite Court. The police understood from her employer that she had not been particularly upset lately, nor has any suicide note been found.

After conducting an investigation, police believe that she fell accidentally while tending the plants on the balcony.
