One man was killed and three others were seriously injured during a dramatic street shooting in China on Monday, People’s Daily reported.

Police in Shangrao, Jiangxi province confirmed the shooting happened at a night market food stall, the newspaper said. Netizens who claimed to have witnessed the shooting said the episode was “like a gangster film.”

Bullets flew as attackers, who used surgical masks to cover their faces, allegedly fired “a dozen guns” before speeding away in a car without a licence plate, a user on Wechat said.
