Road and rail traffic connecting Hong Kong to the airport has resumed after having been severed for over an hour.

At 8:15pm, the MTR Corporation suspended train services on the Airport Express Line, with train services reduced on the Tung Chung Line.
An unofficial MTR Twitter feed pointed to a boat collision.

The Transport Department urged passengers to take ferry to Discovery Bay and change bus to the airport.

Road traffic was reopened at 9:40pm. As of 9:47pm, MTR access was restored.
Correction 11:00am October 27: The bridge collided should be Kap Shui Mun Bridge, not Tsing Ma Bridge.
