At least eight people had to seek medical treatment after an unidentified corrosive liquid fell on them as they passed by Chungking Mansions in Tsim Sha Tsui on Wednesday afternoon.

Police were alerted at 3:13pm and ambulances quickly arrived at the scene.

A police spokesperson told HKFP that officers are investigating the case with no arrests made as of yet.
Two females and six males – including a four-year-old boy – were injured. All were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Jordan.
