A dramatic fight inside Jordan MTR station left three people bleeding on the train platform during Monday evening rush hour.

Witnesses said that several assailants chased another group of men along the platform as horrified passengers ran for their lives.

At least one of the suspects was armed with a knife, a police spokesperson told HKFP.

The victims suffered injuries to the head and hands. Two were rushed to nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police at the scene told HKFP that three suspects, apparently of South Asian descent, had fled.

The incident took place during the rush hour commute.

Police received a report of the attack from a witness at 6:37pm and are continuing investigations.
