Farmers in Shenyang, Liaoning Province unveiled their rice paddy artwork earlier this month.

Using 3D technology and seed colouring techniques, the farmers grew rice plants into “paintings.”

The local government hopes to attract tourists with the paddy field canvases.

A total of 15 “paintings” , which depict traditional Chinese folktales and modern Chinese life, have been grown since 2012.
